The primary design difference between the other covers and the Guitar Shades is style. The Shade fits snuggly to the shape of the instrument (you can tell that it is a guitar). The snug fit allows the instrument to be protected while in its case or gig bag as well. (Some guitar owners like to place a towel over the instrument while in the case, Guitar Shades prevents the need to do so.) The others are somewhat awkward when attempting to use it in conjunction with the case. Further Guitar Shades are strap friendly allowing the instrument to be carried over one’s shoulder if not wanting to use the case or gig bag. The unique design also allows for personalization of the cover so bands can place their name on it while the instrument is displayed on stage. Guitar Shades can display a name, logo, college decal and much more. Personalized Shades become a tax write off and a marketing tool for those using their guitars for business purposes.
